LMK04828: Failure analysis

Hi Team,

              In customer board, under normal temperature, there is no output of LMK04828 in Clock Group 2.

              After on-board testing, it was found that the impedance of VCC4_CG2 pin was 5.3ohm, which is abnormal, comparing with the 9.24ohm in normal one.

              Removed the abnormal chip and directly test at the VCC4_CG2 pin, impedance was 5.3ohm as well.

              Have we ever experienced similar failures?

    Hi Adrian,

    Do they have measured the impedance at VCC4_CG2 pin without chip (after removing the abnormal chip)?

    If the pin shows the same impedance with 2 different parts, then there could be possibility of impedance issue at board.

    Can we able to get the schematic of the LMK04828 section?
