LMK61E07: HCSL Oscillator Recommendation

Part Number: LMK61E07
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK6H

Hi team,

I'm looking for the right clock generator or oscillator for the customer with HCSL low-jitter 400MHz output. Their looking for an oscillator for their SoC. I think LMK61E07 may fit their requirements but seems with too big footprint. Do we have any proper solution for this? Please refer to the requirements below.

  • Hi Izzy,

The LMK6H will most likely be the best solution for this application. It's available in either a DLE(3.2 mm x 2.5 mm) or DLF (2.5 mm x 2.0 mm) package and can meet +- 25 ppm frequency stability. The only other standalone oscillator we currently produce that can output 400 MHz HCSL is the LMK61E07/E08, but as you mentioned it comes in a larger package size. The LMK6H is planned to launch in Q1 2023, although we do not have a confirmed release date for the 400 MHz variant yet.

We can continue our discussion about sample availability via email.

    Regards,

    Connor
