Hello,

My customer is looking for a clock generator from TI to replace the RENESAS 557G-05ALFT below.

1. Please recommend a TI device that can generate a 100MHz PCI-E clock by a 25MHz clock input.

2. If there is a device that is pin-compatible with the LMK00334, please introduce it together.

Hi JH,
CDCE6214 can replace the competitor part and generate up to 4x100 MHz PCIe clocks.

In regards to the buffer, are you just looking for a newer version or an alternative? CDCB400 is another 4 output buffer but the pinout is different from LMK00334. We do not have another buffer with the same pinout as LMK00334 that is PCIe compliant.

What is the reason for looking into another device?

Hi Vicente,

They should be replaced with a clock generator in place of the LMK00334 used.

They want to know if there is a TI clock generator that can be used as a replacement for the LMK00334 without PCB modifications.

Hi JH,
CDCE6214 is 4.0 x 4.0 mm and I see LMK00334 is 5.0 x 5.0 mm.
We do not have a direct replacement unfortunately.
