I would like to include an external VCO for the frequency range 1593MHz to 1654MHz in the LMX2571 EVM.

As mentioned in the datasheet,register R70 can't be found as there are only registers till R60.And how to adjust the settings so as to tune to the required VCO frequency?

Hi Jenitha,

R70 is a hidden register, you can write 0x110 to this register in your software.

I am using codeloader and TCIS Pro.So i didnt see any space to edit the hidden register values.Can you please explain?

Hi Jenitha,

I created a special LMX2571 zip file for TICS Pro, this one contains R70. You can edit its value in the Raw Registers page. Default value is 0x90.

Follow below procedure to upload the zip file to TICS Pro.

1. Import User Device

2. Select the zip file

3. Use the file (User Devices)
