LMK61E2: Programming methods before mounting

Hi Austin,

This device is I2C programmable so customer can program it on their boards. They can use LMK61E2 EVM to create a working configuration before mounting parts and that could be used later for other devices mounted on PCB.

Since we don't offer socketed board, it would be difficult for them to program all the parts before mounting. 

I need to check with our production if we EEPROM programmed parts at production for this part. It would mainly depend on volume of this case but its also highly unlikely because this part can be programmed at customer end. They can evaluate the part on EVM before putting it on their board.

The customer wants to use programmed OSC in their manufacturing. So, it is difficult for them to program all the parts..

I'll discuss with the customer and get back to you.

How about BAW osc? Can you compare the performance between them?

Thanks for reply. However, the price of LMK61E2 is really more expensive than BAW OSC. Can you explain why the price gap happens between them even though BAW is better? I can promote BAW to the customer, but need to explain to convince them.
