2 years ago this questions has been already asked, but it was not really answered: Although the readme states, that ClockPro supports CDCE906, it is not listed in the dropdown for selection.

In another thread I read, that alternatively "TI ClockPro" should be used. But this program always leads to an error message box, stating that it needs the LabVIEW Runtime-engine version 8.2. I have installed both the 32 and 64 bit version of this runtime engine, but the program still stops with the same error message.

Is there an older or newer version of ClockPro that supports CDCE906 or is there a way to get "TI ClockPro" running? Maybe setting some path variable to any of the dozens of directories generated by the LabVIEW runtime installation?

Will this work? The EEPROM text file will have to be a collection of registers - an example of how this would start is below.

Bit ==> 76543210
Byte 00 - 10000001
Byte 01 - 00001001

And so on for the bytes in the register space of the device.

I believe that the programming EVM is required to program the device in this way.

Alternatively, you can use the older software, TI Pro Clock: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/scac073 - this tool should support your device.

thanks for your hints. I tried another version scac073.zip - not sure if it is an older or newer one. I took it from the link you provided. But it seems, that one has all the necessary files of Labview inside and it immediately worked. Maybe a hint: in the readme it is mentioned to run the file found in "d:\installer", but instead it is "d:\installer\Volume".
