BQ32002: Current consumption

Part Number: BQ32002

Hello,

I am evaluating BQ32002 for one of my product application. I have a query on the current consumption data provided in Section 6.5 of the datasheet. Itsays that ICC( VCC supply current) is 65uA typical but when it will run on VBAT( Backup supply) , the current consumption is 1.5uA max. Why there is difference in the current consumption based on the power source? In my use case, I want power up the chip using a coin cell only by connecting it to VCC pin. Hence I need to calculate the longevity of the coin cell based on the current consumption.

Can you please help to clarify?

Thanks,

Siddharth
