Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question, I'll be happy to help. Could you please answer the following question so I can give you the best recommendation.
Leaded or non-leaded package?
standalone watchdog timer or watchdog + voltage supervisor?
Reset time delay needed?
Do you need Watchdog enable pin? Manual reset pin? startup delay?
Jesse
thank you for reply.
Don't care about leaded or non-leaded but I prefer non-leded type.
I want to consider standalone watchdog and voltage supervisor both. if you have voltage supervisor, I prefer 4-channel type (for IWR6843AOP power check)
Don't care about reset time delay
Actually, I used TPS3820-33 IC.
cause of watchdog time out 200ms is too long, That why I ask you recommend 5ms watchdog ic.
thank you.
Dave.
HI Dave,
We are currently in the process of releasing a new watchdog part, TPS35-Q1. This device is a supervisor + Watchdog with programmable watchdog timeout delay. The variant available for sampling at the moment has a voltage threshold of 2.9V.
https://www.ti.com/product/TPS35-Q1/part-details/PPS35AA38AGADDFRQ1?keyMatch=TPS35
For standalone watchdog we have the TPS3435, this device is the same family as the TPS35-Q1 but without the supervisor.
https://www.ti.com/product/TPS3435
For a 4Ch supervisor, we have the TPS3704. https://www.ti.com/product/TPS3704
If you are interested in this parts but the current variant does not meet your needs please let me know.
Jesse
