    Hi NY,

    LMX2572 has more VCO core and wider frequency coverage on each VCO core, VCO calibration algorism is relatively more complicated than LMX2571. In other words, it may take a bit longer calibration time than LMX2571, however, the return is a more accurate calibration. If calibration time is a concern, LMX2572 supports full assist calibration which could reduce frequency switching time significantly. 

    Other benefits of LMX2572 over LMX2571 are better phase noise and spurs performance, wider frequency coverage, register double buffering and wider FSK frequency deviation.
