Hello,

Good afternoon. Greetings for the day.

I'm trying to create following clock profile (.tcs file) using the LMX2594:

1) 491.52 Mhz for both ADC and DAC.

2) 491.52 Mhz for DAC and 122.88 Mhz for ADC.

Could you please assist on how to start working on the same? As I am new to the TICS Pro Platform. Your support will be appreciated.

Hi Srinath,

I have paged our RF expert. To be clear, do you want two profiles, one with just a 491.52 MHz output and the other with 491.52 MHz + 122.88 MHz outputs?

That's correct. I tried creating profile but unfortunately I'm unable to get output frequency as shown below:

Can you please assist ? What could be the reason behind the same. I've adhered to all the criteria's while creating the clock profile using TICS Pro

Hi Srinath,

You can only get the same frequency outputs because the output divider is shared with bout outputs.

Based on your Clock profile configuration, when I tried to configure:

I'm still unable to obtain Output Frequency on the Board GUI. This was the issue that I was facing earlier as well. Could you please let me know what could be the possible reason behind the same ?

Hi Srinath,

I don't know what GUI you are using, make sure your GUI has programmed LMX2594 properly, you can read back the registers to confirm.

In you hardware, make sure there is a valid 122.88MHz clock for LMX2594.

Hello Noel,

I'm using TICS Pro to create the Clock profile & using ZCU216 Board GUI to dump the same into LMX2594 ADC and DAC. Please let me know if you need more information. I'm unable to create clock profile for 491.51 MHz and 122.88 MHz.

Hi Srinath,

ZCU216 is not a TI board developed in my team, I have zero knowledge how to use it.

As I have told you, you can do a register read back to confirm you have written the registers properly. Also you should make sure the input clock is 122.88MHz.
