I have a question about LMK03328.

If the PRIREF_P/N clock is lost and then recovered during operation, are there any recovery actions for the device?

i)set all registers again

ii)set some registers again

iii)no action

iv)others

Hi Masaki,

I expect that the device would automatically detect and lock onto the reference clock if it comes back. In case that does not happen, triggering a software reset through register 12.7 might help.

Under the normal condition, what is the automatic lock time from the reference clock coming back?

Hi Masaki,

The device would already be on and the PLLs would be already calibrated, so the wait time for a valid output is the PLL lock time. This lock time can be estimated as 4 / (PLL loop bandwidth) as suggested in Table 21 of the datasheet.
