Hi team,

Can LMX2594 be used for FSK modulation to achieve frequency hopping at two frequency points? What registers need to be configured to complete this? Could you please provide a reference example and a calculation example.

That is to implement the FSK function in 2572, but due to project requirements, only 2594 can be used.

    Hi Amy,

    LMX2594 does not contain the FSK engine like LMX2572. 

    FSK is still possible with LMX2594. 

    If you only need discrete 2FSK modulation, you can use the Manual ramping function and toggle the RampDir pin.

    If you need shaped-FSK modulation such as GFSK, then you need to continuously program the N-divider, similar to LMX2572's FSK SPI mode.
