Hi all!
I have a need to generate two reference frequencies that are locked in sync with each other so I can run my RFSoC and RF transceivers. I need one reference clock at 100MHz and another at 12.8MHz with good accuracy...Could I use the CDCE6214-Q1 or do you have any other suggestions? Does a pre programmed part for these frequencies exist?
Hi Marcio,
You will not be able to synchronize a 100MHz clk and a 12.8 MHz clk.
Clk synchronization requires frequencies to be integer multiples of each other.
Second issue is the VCO CDCE6214 is limited from 2.335 to 2.625 GHz. LMK03318 is the only single PLL device capable of generating the 4800 MHZ VCO frequency required to divide VCO frequency down to 100 MHz and 12.8 MHz.
Regards,
Vicente
