LMK04832: LMK04832 replacement as LMK04828 or LMK04826

Team, 

LMK04832 is out of stock. We have to consider the replacement for short term. I remember LMK04828 and LMK04826 are used for AFE58JD48/28EVM. 

Are these three devices pin to pin compatible? we can use LMK04828/26 first for prototype. 

or you can suggest when we can get the LMK04832 devices?

    Hi Xiaochen,

    LMK04828 and LMK04826 are pin compatible to LMK04832 with slightly VCO frequency range deviation. If you know the used VCO frequency of LMK04832, can quick compare with the other compatible parts.

    Ajeet, Thanks for the reply! great we have an option. Our operation has some flexibility. the VCO range should be OK. our output freq is like 40MHz 160MHz mainly. We might first use divider mode on the LVDS ADC output, before debugging the JESD204B ADC.

    Hi Xiaochen,

    May be one more thing, LMK04828/26 has max channel divider value of "31", whereas LMK04832 support higher channel divider value "1023". Hence the min output frequency using the LMK04828/26 will be limited by channel divider value.

    Yes Ajeet. I knew that. that is the reason why we selected LMK04832 in the first place. But stock situation forces us to select avaiable parts. Our output won't be that low freq. So should be OK for the intial run. later we can switch back to LMK04832.
