Hello, I am outputting a composite video on my design. The external source is sending me a H-Sync and V-Sync to genlock the video I am sending out. In order to do this, I need to use an encoder that has a framebuffer and can re-time the signals to an external sync. Hence my question, does TI have such video encoder?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a video encoder.

However, we do offer video retimers.

So, I don't know much about video retimers. I'm assuming the retimers are to be used on the digital side(at the HDMI/TMDS) before I convert the signal to analog. Do you have a part number for one to see as an example or send me the link for a list of them?

It seems that retimers only adjust the clock that the HDMI signal comes with and there is no other option to input an external clock to then synchronize the HDMI clock and External Clock.

Correct. The retimers do adjust the clock using the HDMI clock lane.

Is there anything that TI offers, that can help me genlock my video output at anytime when I convert it from HDMI/TMDS to composite?
