LMX2594: Output Clock setting

Hello,

My customer wants to use the LMX2594 with the following conditions.

  - REFIN = 10MHz / PD = 20MHz

  - RFoutAP = 6800MHz / RFoutBP = Value between 100MHz and 200MHz

After setting as below using TICS Pro v1.7.2.0, 106.25MHz output was confirmed in RFoutBP. However, the PLL was not locked.

They tried to test under the same conditions after updating TICS Pro to the latest version, but the settings did not work as shown below.

How do they set up LMX2594 to use it with the above settings? Could you please provide an example setup for the latest TICS Pro?

    When you see something turn red or yellow, mouse over to that box to see the reason. 

    SYSREF requires VCO_PHASE_SYNC = 1 and INPIN_IGNORE = 0.

    There is restriction on the frequency in SYSREF Divider.

    To get the SYSREF clock from RFoutB, we need to set SysRefReq pin HIGH.

    Below is an example configuration.
