Hi,

I want to create a superheterodyne receiver using LMX2592. I want to generate a signal with a 2MHz frequency difference between RF Out A and RF Out B. What changes should I make in EVM for this?
Also, what are the phase shifter suggestions for this structure I want?

Can you please elaborate a bit more on what you require?
What is your input frequency and what are the two output frequencies that are 2 MHz apart that your application requires?

You mention phase shift - are you looking for a device that also has phase adjustment capability?

Hi,

I want to generate signals at different frequencies on the LMX2592 outputs. By making changes to the EVM and its software, can I generate different signals on outputs A and B? For example, can I generate a 1GHz signal on output A and a 1.002GHz signal on output B at the same time?
Can you also recommend a device with phase shifting feature?

Hi Firat,

We cannot generate two non-integer multiple outputs from A and B.

LMX2572, LMX2582, LMX2594, LMX2820 they all support input-output phase adjustment feature.

Hi Firat,

If the two frequencies are close (e.g 1GHz and 1.002GHz), I suggest use two synthesizer otherwise the crosstalk would be very serious.

If your actual application is below 1GHz, you can consider LMK03328, it has two PLL/VCO so it can support two frequency domains simultaneously.
