Dear Team,
Customer is using the LMX2572 and they are facing issues with a specific use case.
The following configuration works well on their board and also on the EVM :
- Fosc=10.23MHz
- Input doubler => x2
- Multiplier => x1
- Fpd = 20.46 MHz
- Fvco= 5708.34
- N=279
- Output Div = /2
- Fout = 2854.17 MHz
However, they are not respecting what is mentioned in the datasheet as the output frequency at the multiplier output is less than 60MHz (cf Table 1).
That's why they tried the following configuration :
- Fosc=10.23MHz
- Input doubler => x2
- Multiplier => x3
- Fpd = 61.38 MHz
- Fvco= 5708.34
- N=93
- Output Div = /2
- Fout = 2854.17 MHz
Unfortunately, while they have a output frequency at the multiplier output higher than 60MHz, it's not working on the EVM and on their board as well.
Can you please help us to solve this issue?
