LMX2595EVM: Spurious - PFD Spurs

Hello,

     We are testing the LMX2595EVM and notice these spurs across a huge spectrum. They seem to be PFD spurs (not sure). 

However what do we do get rid of them (right from <1GHz to several GHz). 

Following are the spectrum analyzer screen shots along with the TICS pro settings being used (we start of with the default settings and then change it to our desired freq)

Please advise if these are expected and how to avoid them.

    Hi SM,

    couples of thing to try:

    1. do not use the OSCin doubler, make fpd = fosc

    2. after programming, set R2[10]=0, this will stop the internal state machine clock.

    3. set OUT_ISET = 3, side effect is the RF output power also get impacted

    4. use smaller output power setting.
