LMK5B12204: LMK5B12204: General Register Programming Sequence

Part Number: LMK5B12204

Hello

I have a very simple question regarding the following paragraph written in the SNAS810A datasheet:

I just want to be completely shure, if I have understood this procedure correct.

It says the register R12 for instance must be masked with 0xA7 (0b1010 0111) and that masked bits = 1 must not be modified.

Does it mean in this particular case that bit 7, 5, 2, 1, 0 must be prevented from being changed during the programming sequence?

Thanks and regards

Frederik

  • Hi Frederik,

That is correct. You do not want to issue a global software reset while updating the registers (that is issued in the later steps). It is also not recommended to modify the other register bits during the programming sequence.

    Regards,
