LMX2571: Question about FSK input pin condition while POWERDOWN / Power OFF

Part Number: LMX2571

Hi Team,

I would like to know FSK input pin condition while POWERDOWN.

I'm planning to share I2S signal with LMX2571 and other devices.

When LMX2571 is in POWERDOWN mode, is the voltage of I2S signal droped by LMX2571?

In addition to that, I woud like to know the I2S condition too when LMX2571 is Power OFF (VCC voltage is not applied).

Thank you,

  • Hi Akamatsu-san,

I2S interface is an input port, when it is powered down (software or hardware power down), it is still an input port and won't pull low or draw current.

However, if there is no Vcc supply voltage, voltage at this port will eventually routed to the Vcc pins due to ESD network, there will be some current drawn by the device.

In short, sharing of the I2S interface is fine as long as Vcc exists.

  • Hi Noel san,

Thank you for your reply. I understand!
