LMX2820: Locking an 100MHz external VCO

Part Number: LMX2820
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2485E

Hello

This inquiry is about Locking an 100MHz VCO with LMX2820

I cannot use RFIN (pin 28) for tye VCO due to its low frequency.

The alternative would be to apply the output of the VCO to PFDIN (pin 20).

Do you see a potential problem with this?

Thank you very much!!!
