CDCE62005/CDCE62002 UIB

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE62005, CDCE62002

On CDCE62005 datasheet page 39, the input buffer parallel termination resisor is 50 ohm. But on CDCE62002 datasheet page 26, the resistor is 5K. What is the reason using 50 or 5K for seemingly same UIB?

    Hello,

Both input buffers are not exactly same. CDCE62005 input buffer offers both biasing and 50 ohm termination internally. CDCE62002 input offers only  biasing and you need to terminate externally. There is no special reason behind doing this.

    Thanks,
