Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM69A, , CDCE6214
I am going to to use PCIe GEN3 in AM69A. In the design I will use a clock generator and a clock multiplier for ref clocks.
As seen in block diagram I want to use 2 different lp-hcsl ref clk input to AM69A so I will use 2 CDCE6214-Q1.
- I will generate lp-hcsl output from xtal or ref clk in. For diff ref clk in can I use lp-hcsl clk type?
- If I use LP-hcsl for ref clk in Do I have to use ac coupling cap next to ref clk in?
- I will supply clk out voltages(VDDO12 and VDDO34) with 3.3V. So Can I directly connect AM69A serdes banks for reference inputs. (the banks voltages are 1.8V)
