LMX2594: LVPECL Output

Hi All,

For the SysRefReq Pin of the LMX2594, set INPIN_FMT to LVDS mode and transmit a differential signal.

I have a question about the level of the differential signal on the output side.

Is it possible to use LVPECL (3.3V system) or LVPECL (2.5V system) on the output side?

Hi Ishiwata-san,

We can put INPIN_LVL = Vin and INPIN_FMT to LVDS for both LVDS and LVPECL signal.

In what cases should I select Vin/2, Vin/4, etc.?

I connected it using the LVPECL 3.3V system and set the INPIN_LVL register to Vin/4, and it worked without any problems.

HI Ishiwata-san,

Vin/2 and Vin/4 are not useful at all, we can simply ignore them and just use Vin.
