Hi,

We are planning to replace HMC830LP6GE with LMX2582RHAT.

Based on HMC830LP6GE design, output frequency (Fout) are 28.125MHz (min) to 1800MHz (max). Fvco is 1800MHz.

  1. Now that we are moving the LMX part, we want to maintain same Fout. What should be the register configurations for this?
  2. Is there any way to achieve Fvco same as old design? or it doesn't matter since it will be reused by the PLL IC only for internal configuration purposes? If there is a way to keep same Fvco, pls share the register settings for the same.
  3. We plan to use 100MHz input CMOS Crystal to maintain same as an existing design. Is that a good idea? Or should any other input be considered for a better performance?
