LMX2694EPEVM: Synchronisation of two eval boards, category 1b

Part Number: LMX2694EPEVM

Tool/software:

Our setup is:
  • 10MHz output from a signal generator to a 0 degrees power splitter.
  • Power splitter output to the OSCinputs of both eval boards (equal cables used)
  • Same regmaps via TICsPro to both eval boards
  • Both eval boards outputs connected to a scope (equal cables used)
But, both output signals are in phase. While mash seed is able to control this offset, the initial offset is up to 180 degrees
With the frequencies used, we should be operating in synchronisation category 1b. We are not using the hardware sync pin.
1.Does any tech note exist with an example for LMX2694 synchronisation to illustrate the proper procedure and some example settings?
2.Can anyone have a look at the tcs regmaps in attachment to see what we are doing wrong?
3.Any advise on how to properly verify the LMX synchronisation feature is properly working?
