I'm trying to use PSpice-for-TI to perform an IBIS simulation for one of the LMK04832-SP's LVDS CLKOUT pairs. I'm using EMI Sleuth's IBIS to PSpice Converter Tool (no affiliation) and following their instructions. I've had good luck with this process using single-ended outputs, but this is the first differential output I've tried. They don't seem to provide a differential version of their IBIS_OUTPUT symbol so I used two single ended drivers with their inputs driven 180 degrees out of phase. Is this a legitimate way to do this?

Hello Rob,

It is not since the output drivers change based on the design and driver type. It can be seen that this conversion distorts the duty cycle of the LMK04832-SP. It should be closer to ~50%. We generally use HyperLynx, not psice to simulate the models. Do you not have another ibis model reader?

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. My company has Hyperlynx but I've been avoiding learning yet another tool - I guess it's time to bite the bullet.
