LMK5B33216: EEPROM Registers

Part Number: LMK5B33216

Tool/software:

Greetings,

I would like clarification on registers: 963, 966, 1025, 1057 the programming guide says that the configuration is both programmable to EEPROM and not.

Is there clarification as to which configurations are programmable?

Thanks,

Jon

  • Hi Jon,

The bits only used to configure the SYSREF are not stored in EEPROM. We recommend using the TICSPRO software to configure the desired register settings. The EEPROM page in TICSPRO also determines which register values to program based on the desired .tcs file.

General register description for R963 by bits:

Register Name Hex Reg Dec Reg Bit Pos Number of bits in field Description EEPROM Setting
    OUT_0_CH0_BYPASS_SEL 03C3 963 7 1 OUT0 Ch0 Bypass Mode. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_CH1_BYPASS_SEL 03C3 963 6 1 OUT0 Ch1 Bypass Mode. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_CH0_NO_BYPASS_SEL 03C3 963 5 1 OUT0 Ch0 SYSREF/ChanDiv Mode. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_CH1_NO_BYPASS_SEL 03C3 963 4 1 OUT0 Ch1 SYSREF/ChanDiv Mode. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_CH0_SR_OR_CHAN_SEL 03C3 963 3 1 OUT0 Ch0 SYSREF or Chandiv Select. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_CH1_SR_OR_CHAN_SEL 03C3 963 2 1 OUT0 Ch1 SYSREF or Chandiv Select. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=Y
    OUT_0_SR_STATIC_SEL 03C3 963 1 1 OUT0 SYSREF Static Select. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=N
    OUT_0_SR_DELAY_SEL 03C3 963 0 1 OUT0 SYSREF Delay Select. RW, ROM=Y, EEPROM=N

    Regards,
