Hello,
I am in need of a circuit that can create a GPS synced ADC clock from the PPS of the GPS. Any suggestions on where to start?
thanks
Kyle

Hi, we have a number of clock generators that can go into a jitter cleaning mode but they are all based on an analog PLL. Therefore, you would need a loop BW of 100mHz or less. We do have customers implementing this in an analog fashion (e.g. CDCE72010), but obviously it requires a very large capacitance, which is not easily achieved. I will ask around if any of my coworkers have a suggestion. BR. Fritz
Kyle,
For the GPS synced signal (like. IEEE 1588 standard), a digital PLL is probably the best approach. In the LMKxxxx series of clocking devices, we have nothing that could do this.
