TPL5010: Reset was triggered while flashing

Tool/software:

I am using TPL5010 is my WDT circuit. We are setting the Delay for 5min,

But while flashing, the time is exceed the more than 5 min, the reset out was triggered. How i will prevent this one.

Hi Noel Fung, We are using TPL5010 as WDT for our SOC based circuit, in this WDT circuit delay time is setting by 5 min by using Delay/Rstn pin.

During SOC first time code dumping (flashing), it will take around 10 to 15 mins, during that time SOC will not sent any pulses to WDT pin, So SoC will be resetting by WDT as per the configured time.

So i need solution to skip the WDT reset pulse generation, Any solution is available for that.

Hi Vignesh,

There is no direct way to stop the timer, you may need some external circuitry to, for example, disconnect the power supply to the timer or disconnect the RSTn path during SoC flashing.
