Tool/software:
Hello,
the below screenshot picture from the spec of CDCM61001.
My question is that the one terminal of crystal can be connected to GND? is it true?
thanks!

Jifei,
The CCDM61001 employs a Colpitts oscillator topology, explained below:

Note the XTAL connection in the evaluation module:

Hello,
Appreciate your coach.
could you let me know what is the Part Number for Colpitts oscillator on TI's EVB?
So far, I don't know which oscillator belong to Colpitts type, although there are many osillator on Digikey components distributor which doesn't show the type of oscillator.
thanks,
David
David,
Three different crystals are provided in the datasheet:

I do believe that Vectron may now by under Microchip.
ABM3B-25.000MHZ-10-1-U-T has also been recommended by us in the past.
This does not require any sort of "special" XTAL, the CDCM61001 just uses a different method of driving the XTAL to resonate. Julian describes this here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/clock-timing-group/clock-and-timing/f/clock-timing-forum/236233/cdcm61001-crystal-input-connection/828940?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=cdcm61001%2520oscillator#828940
Thanks,
Kadeem
