CDCLVP111-SP: power dissipation in the CDCLVP and in the loads

Tool/software:

On the CDCLVP111 SP, can you confirm the output and internal current supply current is 405mA with all outputs (10) terminated to 50 Ohm ?

This current value takes into account load + CDCLVP111 ?

And the maximum internal current consumption with all (10) channels loaded of the CDCLVP111 is 85mA ?

For information in my case with only 3 loaded outputs I had measured 75mA (by remove the current of loads )

If this is the case, the component will dissipate 323mW (3.8*85mA) in a max in a WC scenario.

Hi Pascal,

As mentioned in the datasheet, the output and internal supply current is 405 mA with all outputs terminated to 50 Ohms - but specifically when the product is operating at 125 degrees Celsius. That figure comes down to 385 mA when the operating temperature is -55 and 25 degrees Celsius. This figure accounts for both the outputs being driven and the current being supplied to the CDCLVP111.

Furthermore, the maximum internal supply current is 85 mA. This internal supply current is not related to the current supplied to the outputs - each contribute respectively to the overall output and internal supply current.

Could you share the setup you used to measure the 75 mA current with me?

Thanks for your reply, We can therefore consider that the maximum power dissipated by the CDC is 85*3.3 = 280.5mW and (405-85)*3.3 = 1.056W is dissipated into load ?
