Hi TI Team,

I’m Sanket Patadiya from Glide Technologies.

We’re planning to use the CDCE6214RGET in one of our designs and have a few questions regarding its implementation.

Our system includes an ADC, DAC, and MPU, and we want to provide a clock signal to each component from the CDCE6214RGET. We’re considering two options for this setup.

Our main question is whether we can synchronize the ADC and DAC data with the clock to enable reading and writing data from the MPU?

Please help us with that.

    Sanket,

    I cannot speak for the ability of the ADC/DAC to synchronize their data outputs with the clock, but we can synchronize the clocks so that the initial rising edge of each of the three clocks from the CDCE6214 are aligned. This behavior is described in the datasheet in 9.3.3.2 Divider Synchronization:
