LMX2430: Ftest/LD output pin operates as an open-drain output depending on the MUX[3:0] setting

Hi,

The Ftest/LD output pin of the LMX2430 operates as an open-drain output depending on the MUX[3:0] setting.

Also, according to 9.3.8.2 Open-Drain Analog Lock-Detect Output in the datasheet, an external pull-up resistor is required in an open-drain configuration.

However, we confirmed that a voltage was output without an external pull-up resistor in our test environment, so it is possible that an internal pull-up resistor exists.

Some customer didn't get a clear answer in the "Related Questions" section, so could you please check again and answer my question?

Thanks,

Conor
