My customer is using LM25318 in 16 layer PCB board(endoscope).
The power is 2.73W, and LM25318 case temp they tested on the board is 75.15ºC.
According to datasheet Rjc of 4 layer is 13.2: 2.73*13.2+75.15=111.18, also need 25ºC margin for system save.
In that case will exceed 125ºC limit.
So may I ask:
1. Whether we have 16 layer or 10 layer Rjc data?
2.How could customer calculate junction temp based on Rja?
