Tool/software:
Hello,
Does the LMK04832 have any features allowing non-voilatile modifications to the power up state of its registers? ARe there similar parts that do if this one does not?
Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,
LMK04832 does not non-volatile memory option unfortunately. We have had a few requests for this so this is something we will keep in mind.
I know external EEPROMs exist, and I have had inquiries in the past for other clocking devices that utilize I2c - the short answer is this is allowed but we don't provide any support on this, and TI doesn't make these external memory ICs.
If you find a SPI external flash - than that's an option.
Our DPLLs (Network Synchronizers) can perform most of the junctions our analog jitter cleaners perform and do support EEPROM.
