Hello,

    Our reference clock source is a sine wave OCXO at 100MHz. We need to generate 100MHz LVDS and 100MHz LVCMOS and 10MHz LVCMOS from this.

Please advise on a suitable part/s.

    Hello SM,
    We have a tool where you can input the output clock requirements as well as the ref clk to generate a list of potential devices with price & area. 

    It is Clock tree Architect (CTA) Clock Tree Architect

    Doing this myself we have a variety of angles we can look at this. 
    If jitter isn't too much of a concern, we can get rid of the 100MHz OCXO and utilize a device such as LMK3H0101 which utilizes BAW technology and fractional output dividers (FODs) of generate the output frequencies you need from an ~2.5G source inside (BAW) 

    If jitter is of most importance a DPLL or jitter cleaner can be used such as LMK05318. 

    LMK01801 is also a good option as a middle ground in terms of performance & cost. It's a clock buffer with a ton of outputs though. Not sure if area is a cause for concern. 

    If you could share more on your application and system requirements, I'll be more suited to provide a recommendation.

               Thank you for your reply. 

    What we need is a simple divider and distributor (PLLs will have PFD spurs). 

    We need the following:

    1) Two inputs should be supported (switchable inputs)

    2) Inputs supported should be sine wave (100MHz)

    3) We need 5x 10MHz outputs LVCMOS, 4x 100MHz outputs LVCMOS, 1x 100MHz LVDS

    The 100MHz LVDS output is meant for the TI synthesizer LMX2595.

    Hi SM,

    The LMK01801 offers the best solution for your needs. Note that it does not offer switchable inputs (it supports two inputs that can run simultaneously, and in order to generate all 10 outputs that you will need, you will need to split the input signal and feed them into both inputs), but it can provide all of the outputs you need.
