Hi. We're getting parts marked LMC555CM with the National Semiconductor logo. However, we're having temperature issues, and wondered if the 555 might be counterfeit. Is it still produced with the National Semiconductor logo?

Hello Heinrich,
Logo may or may not be present. The future is no logos. Buying from a authorized distributor is the way to always get true TI products. Where did you purchase the LMC555?
Do you have the reel label with full part number and county codes?
We can also address the temperature issues; can you explain further?
Hi Ron. Thanks for your reply. So you're saying a part manufactured today can still have the National Semiconductor logo? I don't yet know where the parts were bought from. We're getting severe frequency drift over temperatures exceeding 36°C. I can't give exact details, as I have not yet investigated it myself.
Heinrich,
For orderable LMC555CMX/NOPB, it can come with logo or letters TI.
