The data sheet gives a max frequency of 400MHz for Y6 output in LVDS mode. I was able to use the utility for provide register loads to yield a 500MHz output, and was doubtful it would work. And I see no evidence that it's working. I can, of course do 250MHz and others below 400. Just wanted to double check: does the device try at all with an out of spec frequency, or does it stay disabled?
