LMX1204: SYSREFREQ_P/N INPUT

Hello,

I am using the LMX1204 component on my new design and need to supply a signal in 1.2V LVDS common mode to the SYSREF_REQ pin. Can I rely on the internal 100-ohm termination provided internal by the component, or is an external termination required? If so, I would appreciate an example of how to implement this correctly.

Hi Asaf,

You should be able to rely on the internal 100-ohm termination of the SYSREFREQ inputs. Technically, the termination of each input is 50 ohms to the common mode voltage, but that is the same as a 100 ohm differential termination.
