LMK03806: register readback fail

Hi,

There is register readback fail issue under LMK03806 EVM and GUI.

procedure is as below.

1. select "LMK03806B"

2. Select "100MHz XO/TCXO Reference"

3. Read all, then status0_TP Red LED turned on with below message

    Instead of Codeloader, please use TICS Pro GUI: https://www.ti.com/tool/TICSPRO-SW.

    This is the latest software GUI used to support our clocking devices.

    After install, you may find the LMK03806B profile as follows:

    When use TICS pro, Readback fail occured.

    To select, read register, checked Raw Register but read button is inactive.

    Can you please clarify how you are connecting the device to the PC? A USB2ANY is required.

    I am using TICS pro SW and USB2ANY.

    And I am testing Clock Outputs by connecting as below.

    As David asked, the Read Operation ICON is disabled, making it difficult to check whether LMK03806 is operating normally.

    I would like to know how to check the interface is working normally by reading the register.

    The LMK03806B profile does not offer readback. The software only supports write-only mode. 

    I have had more success using the LMK04806B GUI in VCO2 only mode with the LMK03806B board. I have attached a sample register file here that can be used as a starting point.
