LMKDB1102: May I have question regarding LMKDB1102 external curcuit

Part Number: LMKDB1102

Tool/software:

Dear sir:

May I have question regarding LMKDB1102 external curcuit.

Would you have recommend Series resistance range for LMKDB1102 clock one input and two clock output.

Would you have the layout recommend and note for reference or any guide line or layout optimization document for refer?

thanks

  • Hi,

The LMKDB1102 output impedance should be closely matched to the trace impedance, so a series resistor isn't strictly necessary. If you're concerned with overshoot/ringing then series resistors in the range of around 17-33 Ohms can be used.

For layout recommendations, see Section 10.4 of the datasheet or refer to the LMKDB1102 EVM: https://www.ti.com/tool/LMKDB1102EVM

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,

    Connor
