Is there any solution that can generator 1.2V IO level, 100MHz single end clock?

    How many clocks are needed? If one, CDC6C can generate a single 100MHz clock, which can be divided down through a voltage divider to achieve 1.2V swing.

    I also see a few application notes that suggest this way to generate 1.2V swing clock. However, none of them is clear. 

    Is there test result or application note from TI that you can provide me to check more detail, for instance, how to size the resistor, how to place the resistor? or any other factors I need to take into account?

    I do not believe that we have a document for this. I can provide some guidance though.

    There is a tradeoff between the rise/fall timing and the current consumption. Using a 1.8V supply, adding an additional 100Ohm resistor to GND would divide down to 1.2V, but would result in increased current consumption (~6mA). On the other hand, using a 200Ohm series resistor with a 500Ohm resistor to GND would also work, but will result in slower rise/fall times.
