LMX2582: Testing

Part Number: LMX2582
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC12DL2500

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are expecting proto boards in a few days and unfortunately the scopes will not be available during that time.

We are SPI programming the PLL with FPGA to set to 1800MHz and interfacing it to ADC12DL2500

a. Can you recommend any register level checks or similar that we can perform to check if the PLL is giving out the programmed frequency?

b. The other scope which we have on-hand is 1GHz. Is there any other workaround we can do at a lower frequency just to ensure PLL is working fine on our boards?

Thanks
