LMX2594: LMX2594 - internal register

Hi, 

Some registers in LMX2594 are indicted fixed and equals to 0. Extract from dataheet P45 :

 

However when we read these registers, values are different from 0 :

R109      0x6D9D7D

R108      0x6C00F2

R107      0x6B8801

 

Is the behavior normal?

    Hi Pascal,

    R107 to R109 are read only registers, it is normal that you may read back value other than 0.

    The registers R107 to R109 are for readback only as defined in the table 22 of the data sheet

     

    But these 3 registers are defined to 0 value  in the table 23 of the data sheet:

     

    During the test of the LMX2594 we read back a value other than 0 for this 3 registers R107, R108, R109.

    Why this difference with the data sheet?

    Why this change in value? What is the impact on the behavior of the LMX? What is the significance of these changes?

    Hi Pascal,

    You can ignore those read only registers, they are read back for some diagnostic register fields. These fields are not intended for customer use.
