LMX2582: Need help to Read/Write

Hi Team,

We are using LMX2582RHAT in our design and we are trying to Read/Write data's through FPGA (SPI) but communication is not happening as expected.

We don't have USBANY interface adapter to cross check the LMX2582RHAT alone but we have Universal USB (FTDI) to SPI adapter (C232HM-DDHSL-0 - FTDI).

Could you please guide us how to test the LMX2582RHAT with our universal adapter...

Hi Nandini,

You can use TICS Pro (www.ti.com/.../TICSPRO-SW) to generate the register settings and then export it to a text file for your software.

Hi Noel,

Yes I have that and the FPGA is supposed to program the SPI. But it's not happening and we are debugging the code. Meanwhile, I wanted to know if I can use TICS pro + FTDI cable some way to program the PLL.

Hi Nandini,

I have never tried TICS + FTDI, I am not sure if this works.
