Hello,

My customer is using the BQ32002 as shown below.

The PIN2 waveform of BQ32002 they checked was as follows.

32.768 KHz / VPP = 522.9 mV, VIL = 60.78 mV, VIH = 583.6 mV

Q1. The waveform seems low and noisy. Could this waveform cause any problems with the operation or performance of the BQ32002 device?

Q2. Please let us know the Input low voltage (VIL) and Input high voltage (VIH) values ​​recommended by TI.

    Hi JH,

    I don't have a board to measure the waveform, I am not able to comment on the waveform. 

    Can you try with a different probe? also make sure the ground of the probe is connected to the ground of the board with a very short wire. 

    OSCI and OSCO pin expect a crystal but not an input clock signal, so there is no VIH, VIL specification.

    I measured a device with similar crystal oscillator structure, voltage swing is also around 500mVpp.
