TICSPRO-SW: Enhancement request to auto save register and EEPROM files

Hi Jennifer,

If you do a lot of experimentation in TICS Pro it's a bit cumbersome to have to not only save the tcs file but export the registers and EEPROM files as well.  An option to automatically export the registers and save the EEPROM files with the same base name and to the same location as the tcs file would be quite handy.  Maybe "base_name.reg.txt", "base_name.eeprom.txt" and "base_name.epr"?

    Sorry for missing this post. I had my e2e filters for the network synchronizer devices not TICSPro-SW specifically. Slight smile

    I'd like to understand more about your TICS Pro EEPROM request (I assume regarding the LMK05318B or LMK5B12204).

    Essentially, you are asking for some kind of "Save All" feature that automatically exports the several programming files to one directory, correct?

    Yep, that's it exactly.  Saving all the files at one time isn't only a convenience, it can prevent issues when you've made a change and forget to export a single file.  I've found myself in a situation a few times where I saved the tcs and register export files but forgot to switch to the EEPROM page and export the epr file which resulted in some frustration when I couldn't figure out why the changes I just made worked when written to the registers but didn't work when written to EEPROM.  I would guess that this would apply to any device supported by TICS Pro, not just the two I'm working with.

    That message blocker is a new "feature" on e2e. You have to wait 1 minute before you can make another post. I believe this is to reduce spam on the forums.
