LMK5B12204: Real world EEPROM program cycles before instability

Part Number: LMK5B12204

Tool/software:

I know the datasheet says "TI does not ensure EEPROM endurance if the nEEcyc limit (100) is exceeded by the customer" but I'm trying to determine some real world limits.  I.E.  How conservative is that 100 number?  In production the number of cycles would probably not exceed 5 or so but some of my test devices already show over 50 cycles.  Thankfully, they're mounted on small carrier boards so I can replace them easily but I'm just trying to get an idea for what to expect.

Thanks...george
